Overview

Founded in 2015, Stratum has delivered seven projects across the UK with a combined GDV approaching £500m. Every one of them is a converted or restored period building. Every one of them sold out.

Our capital partners are involved early — at acquisition stage, before planning is secured — and they remain close to the project throughout. We are chosen not despite our focus on design and heritage, but because of it: our partners understand that the best financial outcomes follow from the best buildings, and our track record makes that case.

Our Approach

We have an obligation to every building we acquire. Not just to make it financially viable — though we must — but to make something of it that justifies the intervention. Historic buildings are not raw material. They are structures that have survived because they were worth preserving, and our job is to make sure they survive the next hundred years as well as they survived the last.
