Wick Lane Exchange

A building that had earned its place in the neighbourhood long before we arrived. There are streets where a single structure anchors the whole — where its presence is so embedded in the daily life of the area that its absence would leave something more than a gap. This was that building, on that street. We approached it accordingly: with care, with patience and with an acute awareness of the responsibility we had taken on.
