Saddlery Yard Wins RIBA London Award

Saddlery Yard has been awarded the RIBA London Award 2025 in the Housing category. We are extremely proud — and the credit belongs almost entirely to Haworth Tompkins, whose work on this building was exceptional from the first sketch to the last snag.

The RIBA jury described it as a project that "resists the temptation to impose and instead chooses to listen — to the building, to the street, and to the people who will call it home." We could not have put it better ourselves and we would not have tried.

The building has been fully occupied since handover in mid-2024. We would like to think the award reflects what the residents already knew.
